Sustainability at Shé

We view sustainability as a never-ending endeavor, and continue to strive to improve our carbon footprint wherever possible.

As it is held to such a great standard, we prioritize sustainable and ethical practices each day and refuse to waver as we grow.

Our Impact

made in the usa

⊹ all products, even down to the tags, are ethically created in California

⊹ local transport of all units, including samples

production and materials

⊹ use of upcycled/deadstock fabrics and closed-loop-manufactured fabrics wherever possible*

⊹ 100% recycled, recyclable, and reusable mailers (+ soy-based ink)

⊹ small batch, slow fashion production (eliminates waste, prevents overproduction of materials, higher quality garments resulting in greater longevity)

people

⊹ manufactured in a WRAP-certified factory:

⊹ garment makers receive proper, livable wages

⊹ garment makers work in a suitable and safe living environment with high safety standards

⊹ garment makers receive adequate leave/vacation days

* We will be focusing on using more natural fabrics at the source, rather than using upcycled/deadstock fabric, though we will not be discounting it all together as it remains a sustainable practice.

With each step taken, we have learned how to constantly build on our sustainability practices, and are eager to continue improving.
